|
Submitted by Rickshaw :: Mon Jan 10, 2005 11:26 am |
Repeating last year's performance, Olympic medalists Meb Keflezighi and Deena Kastor again topped the US Road Running Rankings for 2004. Developed by the Road Running Information Center in 1988, the rankings award points for all road race performances, adjusting for factors such as drop and alitutude. Extra points are also awarded for first place finishes, Olympic qualifiers, and other notable achievements. For Keflezighi, it was the third time at the top in four years, and Kastor has topped the women's list for six years straight.
