You may have heard some of the news recently about Eddy Hellebuyck, the former Olympian and elite master's runner who set a bunch of new records during the past few years. In better days, Running Times had some nice things to say about him:

Hellebuyck tested positive for steroid use (EPO) in 2004, and was banned from running for two years. In December he lost his appeal, and this week he was also fired from his job as a high school cross-country coach in New Mexico because school officials felt he wasn't an appropriate role model for students.

As someone who makes his living from running, coaching, and endorsements, Hellebuyck is now basically doomed to permanent unemployment. Do you think he got what he deserved?
