Charity Partner's Reduced Rate for Marathon Registration
Posted: Thu Aug 03, 2006 12:13 pm
Looking for a great marathon to run this fall, which features a route that passes incredible historic landmarks, a VERY reasonable registration price, and allows you to help children who need medical care?
Well, look no further! The Marine Corps Marathon on Oct. 29 in Washington, D.C. is your race and Finish For Kids is your team!
Finish For Kids, which is a Marine Corps Marathon Charity Partner, is now offering an incredible REDUCE RATE for its team members: only $100 to register and only a $400 fund raising obligation. Finish For Kids team members may also register for the Marine Corps’ 10K as well if they are not interested in running the marathon.
Finish For Kids is a partnership between two non-profit organizations: The Carefree Foundation and the Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children. Both organizations provide medical relief and health education to children and communities around the world.
One of the many benefits of Finish For Kids is the guidance provided by its experienced coach. For a complete list of team benefits and for more information go to
www.finishforkids.org
or send an email to

.
This incredible marathon course passes the Kennedy Center before entering the National Mall and numerous monuments, memorials and landmarks, such as, the Lincoln, FDR, Korean War and Vietnam Veteran's memorials, Washington Monument, and the U.S. Capitol.
Wishing everyone a successful fall running season!
