Just a brief message to let you all know that I'm alive and well and have not left the planet. I'm currently in the process of moving to a new address here in Canon City and haven't been too faithful to my running goals here lately. Also, I was working part time since January of this year and now have developed a hearing problem, so now I'm back to being fully retired. My wife has also had some serious health problems this past year that are still ongoing, so that's required a large bit of my time.

We should be moved within the next couple weeks and then I'll get back into my daily routine. My heart doctor told me last week that I need to drop about 20-25 pounds, so it's almost mandatory that I not rest on my laurels but set some future goals and get back into the swing of things. Of course, I'm hoping all this moving has helped with the weight thing. I know my body is telling me that I've been really engaged in some physical labor.
