what other sports do you enjoy?

Most runners I know also enjoy lots of other sports. I'm not much of an athlete in general, but I do enjoy skiing and snowboarding when I get the chance, as well as backcountry backpacking. One of these days I'll get myself a bicycle-- I think I might enjoy bike racing. I'm not much of a team sports guy, though, because I usually stink too much to have fun.

I was a racquetball fiend about 10 years back and was in incredible shape . Currently, in addition to running, I'm trying to explore other "adventure" sports, like trail running, cross-country skiing, even a little cliff climbing.
Same goes for me, Rickshaw: I'm a weak team athlete and don't have much fun participating in team sports because I have to try so damned hard. Tall and skinny doesn't usually cut it on the football field, and basketball? "You mean I have to put this big ball in *that* little hoop?"
Maybe I'll dabble in a little dodgeball...

I like softball a lot, and used to play in a couple leagues every year, but that's dwindled since I've lost the softball beer belly and focussed more on running. I tried beach volleyball last summer and got into that, but it wasn't much of a sport, more of playing on the beach for an hour or so then heading to the bar afterwards to get back in the positive for calorie consumption/burned.

Since I live in Colorado, I enjoy hiking in the mountains. I also do a lot of mountain biking and so trail running in the summertime.

It seems like hiking is a popular sport with runners, which certainly makes sense. Do any of you ever do backcountry camping? After the first time I did it, I could never imagine camping in one of those drive-in campgrounds again.
Maybe I should put some tent and sleeping bag ads up here... :-)

I've never done any backcountry camping, but there are lots of people who do. When I used to hike a lot in the mountains, I used to see tents all the time. Since I live within an hour or two hours of hundreds of hiking trails, I just generally would make daytrips out of it.
