Ritzenhein, De Reuck Win At USA Cross Country Championships

Dathan Ritzenhein and Colleen De Reuck were victorious on the long course at this weekend's USA Cross County Championships. It was De Reuck's second straight long course win, and with her victory at the 2004 US Olympic Marathon trials, she's had a very impressive year. Ritzenhein led the men's race the whole way, defeating a strong field that also featured Alan Webb, Jorge Torres, and Tim Broe.
On the short course, Shalane Flanagan repeated as the women's champion. In the men's race, 2004 Olympian Tim Broe recaptured the title he won in 2001 and 2002 with a narrow win over two-time USA short course winner Adam Goucher.
