LA Marathon To Offer Live Video Webcast

Marathon fans with with a fast internet connection will be able to catch the 2005 Los Angeles Marathon broadcast live online as a streaming video file. The local NBC affiliate will feed their live local television broadcast through the internet, allowing computer users in any country to watch the race at www.nbc4.tv. While a few international races have experimented with the technology in the past, the live webcast is a first for a major US marathon. The race will air on Sunday, March 6 beginning at 7:30 a.m. Pacific time.
