Right now, there's a 246k race from Sparta to Athens. Live updates are here:

So far, American Scott Jurek is in the lead at 88k! Gee, only 150+k to go!

The course record is held by Greek runner Yiannis Kouros, who ran the 246k at an 8 mn/mile pace (yeow).

In fact Jurek won the race, in a little under 23 hours. 246k??? Wow. That's impressive. That's almost six standard marathons back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back.
