I just had to "weigh" in here. I am lucky to get 200 Km (120 miles) out of any of my shoes. New Balance seem to be the worst. I am 5'8" and 210 lbs. so I could lose a few pounds. So far the Mizuno see ... |

Absolutely. The bigger, the hairier, the scarier, the better. I run occasionally on a treadmill, but prefer the wild. If you can run the whole trail, it isn't tough enough. If I can do it in the winte ... |

I agree with Bill. I love running in winter and in snow. Much easier on the knees and a harder workout. Most people think I'm crazy.

I've had problems with chafing as well. Now I run in Nike compression shorts. Kind of like bike shorts minus the padding. No more chafing problems. |
