I continued my gradual post-marathon ramp-up this week. I ran a total of 34 miles in 4 days of running, capped with a beautiful 14 mile trail run this morning. It feels great to be outside and moving again! Next week I hope to run about the same mileage as this week, but with Christmas and my in-laws coming to viist, that may be hard.

36 miles over running days, including a couple of 10 milers. First time I've put in 5 days of running over a week in a long time, so that's good. Mighty cold here this morning...somewhere between 1F and 5F depending on which thermometer you believe. No outside running today! Will try to ramp it up to 40 this week, but that may take some doing given the holidays and school vacation beginning Friday.
