NRR: Indian Ocean Tsunami

This is off topic, but has anyone else been following the news reports about the tsunami in the Indian Ocean? It is truly terrible... more than 50,000 people killed and millions more homeless. In an age where we think we've achieved mastery over the earth's forces, it's sobering to think that a three-story wall of water could come along and wipe everything out. It also makes me very thankful to just be alive and safe, and makes my other concerns seem pretty trivial.
