I know somebody from the forums here is planning to run the Nipmuck Trail Marathon later this spring... there was a nice article about the race in this month's Trail Runner magazine. It looks like mud, mud, and more mud!

Speaking of which, does anyone else subscribe to Trail Runner? Although I don't do much trail running, it's still a much better general-interest running magazine than Runner's World.

I'd love to do more trail running, but unfortunately there aren't many trails within running distance of me, and to be honest I have a hard time getting myself to get in the car and drive somewhere to go for a run. Maybe I should give it a try more often, though, once the snow melts.
