It's December again... have you been good? What running toys are you hoping Santa will bring you this year? Here's my list:

- A headlamp for running after dark
- New coolmax running socks
- Prepaid race entries to some "destination" races
- Shoes, shoes, and more shoes! It seems like I go through a pair every week!

If I didn't already have something similar, I'd ask Santa for a Garmin Forerunner too. It looks like a running geek's dream toy.

Gifting race entries is a great idea. All those $25 fees for 5Ks here and there can really add up. I could easily see spending more on race fees than shoes over the course of a year.

I'd like a larger water bottle or Camelbak to take on my long runs. Currently I have to plan all my long runs to make sure they pass by a water source every few miles, which is a pain.
